SLIPFORM supported the organisation of Szczecin Film Festival, one of the major cultural events in Western Pomerania. During this year’s edition, our company served as a Patron of Culture, supporting the festival organisers and sponsoring a special award for the Most Inspiring Film. This is another example of our commitment to promoting culture and supporting creative talent in our region.
SLIPFORM and Szczecin Film Festival: A Partnership Built on Friendship
As a Patron of Culture, we had the pleasure of supporting a festival that has long served as a meeting place for filmmakers, audiovisual industry professionals, and audiences passionate about contemporary cinema.
However, our involvement goes beyond traditional sponsorship. Our relationship with Szczecin Film Festival is built primarily on friendship, mutual trust, and a shared appreciation of the importance of culture in regional development.
The festival provides opportunities to exchange experiences, meet artists, and discover new perspectives. Events like these enrich Szczecin’s cultural life and strengthen its reputation as a city that embraces art and creative initiatives.
The SLIPFORM Award for the Most Inspiring Film
One of the highlights of this year’s partnership was the presentation of the special SLIPFORM Award for the Most Inspiring Film.
The award was presented to Adriana Matwiejczuk, director of the film “Dzisiaj przyśni mi się woda” (“Tonight I Will Dream of Water”).
The award was handed over during the festival ceremony by SLIPFORM CEO Daniel Kisała and Chief Financial Officer Anna Kisała.
Through this award, we wanted to highlight the importance of inspiration in filmmaking.
Cinema has an extraordinary ability to tell stories, address important issues, and encourage audiences to reflect. It can challenge established conventions and present reality from entirely new perspectives.
The SLIPFORM Award recognises filmmakers whose work inspires audiences and leaves a lasting emotional and intellectual impact long after the screening ends.
We extend our warmest congratulations to Adriana Matwiejczuk on receiving this distinction, as well as to all the other winners of this year’s festival.
Supporting Culture in Western Pomerania
SLIPFORM is a company with strong roots in Szczecin and Western Pomerania. This is where we develop our technologies, carry out new projects, and build relationships with our partners.
Alongside our business activities, we are committed to playing an active role in the life of our region by supporting valuable social and cultural initiatives.
Szczecin Film Festival is an excellent example of an event that brings the local community together while opening the city to filmmakers and audiences from beyond the region.
Through initiatives like this, Szczecin becomes a meeting place for different cultures, experiences, and artistic perspectives.
Being a friend of the festival holds special significance for us. It gives us the opportunity to be part of an event brought to life by people’s passion, dedication, and consistent commitment to promoting culture.
We would like to thank the organisers of Szczecin Film Festival for their trust, friendship, and another opportunity to work together.
We are delighted that, as a Patron of Culture, we were able to contribute to this year’s edition and recognise one of the festival’s talented filmmakers.
Congratulations to all the award winners, and we look forward to seeing you at the next edition of Szczecin Film Festival!
